About this ebook

Over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the second grade, I gave Wren Tyler my heart.

I never wanted it back, even when time, distance, and fate kept us apart—

because even as a kid, I knew I'd love that girl forever.

It’s not until years later that we finally have a chance to be together.

Finally.

I’ve waited patiently through every obstacle and impossibility, and nothing is going to mess up my chance at a future with Wren.

Unfortunately, my vengeful ex-fiancée has other plans.

Already embroiled in a battle for my business, my ex sets her sights on Wren.

She slings lies and threats like well-aimed arrows, intent on ruining me and destroying the woman I love.

Each attack tests our newfound love, and instead of weathering the storm…

Wren might just decide I'm not worth the risk.

This was a decent start to a new series. Small towns have their goods and bads. Everyone knows each other and roots or boos for you. Lies are going around, started by Oliver's former fiancee. The storyline was great but there was too much and too long bickering between Oliver and his former finacee. It became tiresome. My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

“She’s a flower and I’m a steadfast bee, drawn to her nectar.” This is Wren and Oliver’s story . A story where your heart breaks and get put back together. They waited for their moments together;yet faced so many obstacles. They were able to fight for each other and had each other's back throughout. A great second chance romance that leaves you smiling. 4 stars Rating

Audio Review: Robert and Samantha depicted Wren and Oliver perfectly. The emotions, the highs, the lows, and the challenges were voiced flawlessly. This book was a little different, as it begins after they are already together (you can read that short intro in Close to You) and we see how they have to navigate a vindictive ex and the web of lies she weaves. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, waiting for the other shoe to drop, while you root for Wren and Oliver because they are meant to be.
