My Lover, My Stalker: A Forbidden Romance

I’m still deciding if I actually enjoyed this book or not. We have Jason who is an ex-Crim who has been following Olly for quite awhile before he actually meet her. Once he’s met her, he then goes about getting to know her better and dating her but he betrayed her trust by his actions until he finally has to confess to her that he is the father of her baby. She kicks him out but then forgives him and takes him back. It’s all kind of wrong but I guess these stories sell. I just don’t feel comfortable in recommending this story. I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.

This intriguing story drew me in had me drawn into Jason and Olly. Olly is still grieving the death of her father, so she is dealing with depression. Jason sees Olly in the story one day and follows her home. He has been stalking her since by watching her sleep and sometimes joining her. Their story starts when she goes to his shop for an oil change. They start a relationship, but Olly has intimate dreams of being with Jason. She doesn't know for sure but when she finds herself pregnant everything comes out. Will she and Jason survive his deception? This is a well written story that had me connecting with Olly and cheering for her to get a chance for happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Wow! I actually enjoyed this book even though I know I probably shouldn't have. It was about Olivia or Olly and Jason. Jason was an ex-con and a car garage shop owner. When Olly's car needed an oil change she took it to him. What she didn't know was that he had been stalker her and following her home since before she ever knew him. Olly thought he was handsome and started to date him. She kept wondering why he would not go farther with her than making out. One day she finds out that she is pregnant and can't understand how that happened since she has not had sex in over a year. Jason then tells her he has a secret and it is extremely shocking and dangerous. This story was very enjoyable and a little hard to believe. I cannot believe some of the actions of Jason no matter his reasons and I felt Olly's reactions to these were a little too accepting. The story was entertaining and held my attention even though it was not as steamy as some of the author's other stories, especially in this series. I enjoyed this quick read and can't wait to hear Janelle's story that is coming up! I received a review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
