About this ebook

Surviving an alien abduction demands a sharp dagger and an iron heart. It’s too bad she only has one of these…

Caught in an alien invasion aftermath, Fala fights for survival armed with only a dagger and unyielding courage. Traveling through the woods on a food run, she’s captured by a colossal, ruthless Henokan soldier.

Fala is determined to escape, while her captor is determined to claim her as his own, disregarding the suspicion she might be allied with the Henokan archenemies, the Baltins.

Can she escape his cruel cage? Can he break free from her courageous heart?

Could use some editing and proofreading. Several mistakes, wrong words, or misspelled words needed correction as I read. Interesting storyline 🤔, probably worth reading. It's not my favorite, but as an avid reader, I'll read almost anything. I'll check out the other book from this author before deciding if I'll buy this one or not. No sense buying something I may not like. But I do give every book a chance to improve once I start it. I just don't put out cash for unknown authors. I will review other books from this author before making my decision and will rate them as I see them.

About the author

Melissa hates talking about herself in the third person, but she absolutely LOVES writing stories with forbidden romance and the flawed antiheroes who would burn the world to find and protect their true loves. Her favorite stories have always been those told from the antihero or villain’s perspective.

When not contemplating new story ideas, she can be found traipsing around Texas State Parks, herding her cats, studying a new language, or reading.
