This book is full of generalizations and incoherent misuse of scientific findings and he has a blatant disregard for social science. Tesh is so absurdly sexist, it makes me sick. He needs to take a crash course on gender. Men are not 'hardwired to watch Braveheart.' or 'act heroically.' The things this man trots out and has people believe about gender is dangerous and backwards. The hegemonic masculine identity is not a biological trait. Tesh writes like a biological determinist/essentialist - John, your ideas on gender roles belong in the 1950s. Simply, Terrible.
