Origin of the alphabet; number line, computer is the same place. There isn't a calendar without a programmer; different ones in society are for companies to supply basic utilities; motor vehicles, food clothes & shelter. Computer programs give the answers to outstanding questions; humans do not. They also drive all artificial moving objects; humans do not. One program designs all the building and a different one does cars; the program includes after they are built schedules for them and us. Cameras are a derivative of computer separate from video recorder for unreal pictures and photograph obstructing justice to disappear or vanish includes video tapes & DVD's.

Who but Lynsay Sands could have me laugh, cheer, tear up, gasp and scratch my head… all in the first chapter! Lady Saidh Buchanan has travelled to comfort her cousin Fenella MacDonnell, recently widowed for the fourth time in four years… Greer MacDonnell, a warrior for hire before acquiring the title of Laird MacDonnell, is called home because of the same unfortunate circumstances. Upon seeing Saidh, Greer realises she represents the woman of his adolescent fantasies; Saidh is also quite taken by Greer’s most pleasing appearance. THE HIGHLANDER TAKES A BRIDE is a delightful fast-paced romance between two utterly charming people, who share amusing and flirtatious banter as they get to know each other. Saidh is a spirited young woman, who has learned at an early age to take care of herself; with seven brothers, it was inevitable. She has quite a competitive nature, she challenges Greer in more ways than one, and what ensues go further than teasing and swordfights… Saidh tries to be a lady, but it does not come easily to her, however Greer likes her just the way she is. I liked the myriad period details that Ms. Sands wove into the fabric of the narrative, whether they are about the daily life of women, medicine, the décor or the clothes; they contribute to give the story an authentic feel. Greer and Saidh are a perfectly matched pair; both are very appealing and their relationship sweet and playful, and progresses beautifully. THE HIGHLANDER TAKES A BRIDE also features a great cast of secondary characters, amongst them the young Alpin and Saidh’s brothers, whom I hope to see in future books. What surprised me most is that Ms. Sands does not make it a habit to include suspense in her stories, and she did a fine job: the mystery is quite riveting, and she kept me guessing as to who the villain was until the very end. THE HIGHLANDER TAKES A BRIDE is a very well written, enchanting, captivating and very romantic book: it is Lynsay Sands at her finest. I was provided a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great book! I always enjoy Lynsay Sands historical books about Scottish Lairds and this one was no different. I can usually pinpoint the bad guy early in the story but this one kept me on my toes! Romance, suspense, bossy protective brothers and a happy ending. This one had it all!
