This is book 4 in the Callahan Confidential series. I have read all the books in this series and love them all, however if this is your first book to read in this series you will have no problem keeping up. Matt Callahan is a handsome police K-9 officer. When Lacy Germaine is in desperate need of his help, he does all he can to keep her safe no matter what odds may be against her. Lacy can't believe how her life is turned upside down. Will she be able to put aside her trust issues and trust this handsome K-9 cop, even though she knows not all police can be trusted. I loved the action, suspense, mystery and romance in this book. The Callahan family have a great love and loyalty to each other. I look forward to hearing more from this series.
