Saffron is a young Australian author with a passion for both writing and reading. She has been fascinated by fantasy and science fiction books from a young age with Lord of the Rings being one of her favourites.
Saffron recently completed a PhD in chemistry.After getting sick of reading about weak female characters in science fiction she decided to write her own and thus The Nova Chronicles were born. She describes them as a mash-up of Dr Who, Tomb Raider, and Firefly - all rolled into one.
