Lily's always been surrounded by love.

Ever since her mother died, she's been cared for by friends who are as close as any family.

Coral, her mum's best friend; Patsy, her old babysitter - and even Dan, Patsy's incorrigible younger brother - have always been there for her.

But when the chance comes to meet the man who was the love of her mother's life, Lily knows she has to take it. Getting to know him could change everything, and not just for Lily...

I love Jill Mansell and I find her books real page turners they're amazing I will day though the books have a habit of leaving you hoping that she will write a sequel as they finish really abruptly. This one however was finally finished off perfectly. The usual build up to the inevitable with soo many unexpected twists and turns along the way it was perfect!!!!!

Another fantastic offering from the amazing Jill Mansell. As always, the characters are believable and loveable, and the story lines funny and moving. I loved every word of this book, thank you Jill for these few hours of escapism. I wish you could write a bit quicker. Say, 2 books a week :)
