Fluid dynamics, the behavior of liquids and gases, is a field of broad impact that encompasses aspects of physics, engineering, oceanography, and meteorology. This introductory text is geared toward advanced undergraduate and graduate students in applied mathematics, engineering, and the physical sciences.
