About the author

Mohd Hilmi Hasan is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He obtained bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees in information technology from UTP, Malaysia, and a M.Sc. from The Australian National University, Australia. His research focuses on data science, big data analytics, AI, and computer networking, and he has numerous publications in reputable journals. He is a member of the Center for Research in Data Science, UTP, and Malaysia Board of Technologists and has extensive research and education experience.

Hisham B Mohamed is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He obtained a bachelor's in civil engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a M.Sc. in Soil Mechanics & Environmental Geotechnics from Imperial College London, UK, and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK. His research focuses on fiber optics sensors in geotechnical engineering, finite element modeling, trenchless construction, soil-structure interaction, soil improvement, and structural damage assessment. He has published around 100 research papers in reputed journals and proceedings and conducted various short courses. He secured more than ten research grants and consultancy projects from national and international bodies.

Nasir Shafiq is Structural Engineering, Construction, and Materials Professor at the civil engineering University of Technology Petronas. He has+30 years of working experience as Academician, Researcher, and Structural Design Consultant. His expertise includes structural reliability, high-performance concrete, geopolymer concrete, building information modeling, pipeline engineering, and sustainable and low-carbon living. He has authored over 250 papers in the ISI and Scopus-indexed journals and proceedings and has written two books. He has secured many research grants from various agencies in Malaysia and overseas, which makes a total sum equivalent to 3.5 million US$. He supervised and graduated more than 30 Ph.D. and 20 M.Sc. students by research mode and is also a visiting Professor at ENSAM France, Najran University, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

Said Jadid Abdulkadir is Associate Professor in the Department of Computing at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and a core Centre for Research in Data Science (CeRDaS) member. With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Said specializes in developing scalable and interpretable machine learning algorithms with applications in healthcare, the oil and gas sector, and autonomous systems. His work bridges the gap between theoretical advancements and real-world deployment, ensuring cutting-edge research translates into tangible societal impact. As an active IEEE CIS executive member, Dr. Said plays a key role in shaping the future of computational intelligence research and fostering global collaborations and the professional development of early-career researchers.
