About this ebook

For three decades, George Christie was at the centre of one of the most notorious biker clubs in America – the Hells Angels.

As president of the Ventura charter of the Hells Angels, Christie was the club's chief negotiator and spokesman, riding alongside the infamous Sonny Barger. In Exile on Front Street, he takes readers on a gripping journey through his years as an Angel, from the bloody brawl that ignited the war with the Mongols to facing a contract on his life from the Outlaws.

Christie offers an unflinching look at the brotherhood and betrayals that defined his time in the club, including being targeted by the Feds and his stretches in prison. He also reveals how the Hells Angels evolved over the years, why he ultimately chose to leave for his family's sake, and the fallout when the club's leadership turned against him.

Raw and uncompromising, Exile on Front Street is Christie's attempt to set the record straight – a hard-hitting memoir of what it truly means to be a Hells Angel through good times and bad.

This book is a first hand account of the most famous "Outlaw' motorcycle Club in America, the "Hell's Angels" George Christie who served over 35+ years in the Hell's Angels was the longest serving President of any chapter, Ventura,CA. This book is very personal and revealing of the world of Biker Clubs, a must read and now a part of America's History. As a former LEO who investigated this and many other Biker Clubs this is the best of the best and should be in every library and your home library as well.
