When Gretchen Stephens inherits an old farmhouse from the grandmother she barely knew, she has one practical option: sell it. After all, there's no sentiment beyond a few fuzzy memories and no money without a sale.

Her resolve only solidifies when the hot handyman, Jackson, shows up to help haul off the old refrigerator. Because even if she could make the old farmhouse into the fancy event venue of her dreams—and she won’t say the idea hasn’t crossed her mind a time or two—the last thing she needs is some country boy to trap her in her past, and the last thing she wants is to leave the city she loves to go back to the hills of Kentucky.

However, when disaster strikes one snowy night and she and Jackson have to work together to help a boy survive, Gretchen realizes she might have misjudged Jackson. And maybe the whole town.
