Haunted By Desire: A Gothic Dark Romance

I grew up reading gothic romances, and this one transported me not only to Deriree Cottage in the moors but also back to my chiildhood. From the first pages to the last, the story has an eerie feeling to it that I absolutely loved. It's not just the setting, which is discriptive and pulls you right in, there's also the brooding, mysterious Aiden and his dominant, controlling behavior that Iris can't seem to pull herself away from. The story is dark and seductive, and just like Iris, I couldn't walk away.

What a great start to Felicity Brandon’s new Wild Iris series. I found book one Haunted By Desire was intriguing and dark and I was throughly enthralled by the storyline and characters. Iris goes for a hike with her friends in the wilds of Northumberland and gets lost looking for help for her injured friend. After wandering for hours she finds a house. She convinces Aidan to help her and they find themselves drawn to each other. I can’t wait to read book two to see what happens next.
