Let me start with letting you know I received a free copy for an honest review. The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Mate was a solid story with well developed characters. I would have liked a little more on the authors shifter mythology in the book. At times it was a bit unclear how all the secondary and supporting characters connected, for example what is the history of the club and the families that run it? The heroine, Lillah, had a strong presence and personality. While the hero was not quite as consistently "alpha," he was a very deep character with a developed sense of personal honor. The tumultuous nature of their romance kept my interest and led to a great opening story to this series. Overall I really liked the book. It is well written, and I'm really excited about the next book in the series.

I don't read shifter romances often but every now and then, there is one that catches my attention. Well, this first book by Diana Seere was one of those, I was quite excited when I got my hands on it. The truth is, expected it to be funnier but in any case it didn't disappoint. It was interesting, definitely hot and a fast read. I quite liked the characters and I was rooting for them the whole time :) Gavin and Lilah are quite an interesting couple. coming from two completely different worlds, it is difficult to fathom that they can have anything in common, that their attraction and feelings are something more than a passing fancy. In truth, no one really believes it, even they themselves. But with every second spent together, things change. And where once there was only attraction, in matter of simple weeks and months, it grows to love. A love that spreads like wild fire. I have to say that I really love Gavin. He is definitely Alpha and dominant, even if he is not the oldest brother in the family. He is incredibly HOT, smart, ambitious and he built and empire of his own, which is definitely something to be admired. And when you look into those baby blues I can only imagine how easy it is to lose your train of thought. I mean, especially the way I envisioned him during the whole book (check out the picture on the right), he is definitely someone I would love to spend some time naked, wherever he decides it's best - in the forest, his limo, the club, the wine cellar. He just needs to give me that smile and look at me with those enchanting eyes, and I am all his :D The only thing that I didn't specifically like in the book, was towards the end. I was left somewhat confused by it and not very clear on what exactly happened. I hope it will be cleared in one of the next books. In any case I can't wait to pick up the next one in the series. Received an ARC for an honest review. [This is the first book review I've ever written] Having read many books by Julia Kent, I was excited to hear about this new series delving into the world of Paranormal Romance with shifters. The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match is a great introduction to the Billionaire Shifters Club series. The book introduces us to Lilah Murphy, a broke and desperate female, who was relatable, and Gavin Stanton, a billionaire CEO with a secret. Admittedly, it did take me a little while to get into the swing of the book, as I was expecting more comedy like previous books, but once the story had taken off, it had me gripped. The story of Gavin and Lilah was of forbidden yearning, fiery encounters and a secret so big, that it threatened their very happiness. The passion between the main characters was palpable and addictive. The 'beat' that connected them was strong and a new and intriguing take on the shifter world. I enjoyed the introduction to the Stanton brothers, and sense the Gavin and Lilah will appear in the rest of the series. Overall, a whirlwind romance with fire and ice. Characters who intrigued, annoyed and entertained.
