I enjoyed reading this short story. I loved the world & the characters. The plot was interesting. Some parts hinted at events from book 1, but it's in a way that presents it more as a mystery, rather than any spoilers, so I would say that these books could be read in any order so far. The timeline overlaps book 1, but goes a little farther. I'm still hoping for answers about a specific character from the 1st book & I hope to see something more about it soon. A fun fated mate romance.. Some adventure and laughs. Leo's exercise routine was my favorite part of the story.. That made me smile :)

I enjoyed this book with its twists as Lily does her thing and meets Leo. But they figure out eventually they are fated mates. Loved the fairy tale story with its added drama and twists. Plus the ending was so much fun and satisfying due to the rest of the story. A good story, good characters, and interesting situations. Had me laughing at times and wondering how Lily and Leo would deal with what was tossed at them at times.
