Wow! Sheila is a sassy, confident, dire wolf shifter. Leo is a law enforcement lion shifter. Shelia is Leo's fated mate, but she's denying it until she can't any longer. Leo proved himself worthy, and fate has a way to bring fated mates together. The story had me from the get-go. The drama between Shelia and Leo and then the danger to his father in his pride had me unable to put the book down, wanting to see what would happen next. And there's plenty of steamy bits once these two got past their problems. I enjoyed reading this story!!. Sadie Provost narrates this action-packed, fated mates, steamy audiobook. C. D. Gorri writes some of the best paranormal stories, and now you can listen to them too.

Lions and dire wolves pose an interesting pairing. There was much indecisiveness plus hard to control lusty thoughts between Leo and Sheila. For me the plot was slow to unfold and featured with a lot of frank steam. I enjoyed the story, but at times it felt like some themes were repeated with only minor variations. Suspense involving the pride forced Leo to return home. Loved fun banter that popped up most with Sheila,Lucy and Aunt Patricia. Very smile worthy and built up to the eventual HEA

Shelia and Leo's story was a fantastic tale that had me smiling. Shelia is strong and independent wolf with sass. Leo is lion and detective investigating the bombing at the bar where he met Shelia, his mate. The connection and push between Shelia and Leo grab you with each turn of the page, add in the twist of mystery, and I found myself lost in the story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
