Very good read! That is all. Definitely read this book. If for some reason you care about how it made me feel see below. I was surprised at how quickly I became engrossed in this book. Written as an examination of the lives of Saul, David and Absalom, Three Kings explores some complex subjects with powerful insight and unexpected tenderness. It's not a long book (which I appreciated) but it has a lot to say. Gene Edwards draws out reflections on suffering, power and submission to God with compelling (and at times quite direct) dialogue/exposition. He says it much more eloquently than I could so I'll just tell you to read the book, it's worth your time and energy. I think this is a book anyone could read and get something new out of time and again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I thought of the government, my church, my home, my life, my family and my friends. Whatever circumstances the Lord allows into my life, I will not say a word nor will I do anything. I will try to let God handle it.

I was very touched by this book, it was very much more than I expected, and the way the author speaks makes you feel like he's right there reading a story to you like when a child is tucked into bed, I loved it.
