Make Green Moves for Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, some of Play’s top games have come together to fight climate change and support the planet – and you can join in on the fun. Make Green Moves (or MGM) is a monthly activation in your beloved games where you can purchase a limited-time green item. All proceeds from your purchase will go to certified sustainability projects. Discover how you can power up the planet with MGM.

On the first Tuesday of the month, a special limited-time green item or bundle will drop in MGM partner games. These items include major buffs and benefits, as well as exciting seasonal integrations. With the support of PlanetPlay, a not-for-profit digital platform dedicated to sustainability, all MGM proceeds go to programs that are fighting climate change.

So by purchasing the green in-game item, you could be contributing to causes like PlanetPlay’s flagship Hongera Project, which supports families in Kenya by distributing eco-friendly cookstoves to local communities. The studio’s share of the revenue is also devoted to sustainable game development. Last year, MGM’s partner games helped plant over 100,000 trees.

To celebrate Earth Day, you can also earn a Play Points booster for participating MGM games. From April 22-29, when you purchase an in-game item in one of the MGM featured games, you’ll also be earning 3x Play Points for those purchases.
