As an audiophile I love this app but Chromecast streaming has always been a bit flakey and I often had to force kill the app to make it work again. Unfortunately the March 2025 update completely killed chromecast, it does not work at all anymore. Even worse, after a few attempts it also breaks other apps from being able to stream. Without streaming this app is worthless to me. How can I get an older version of the apk? Make chromecast work reliably and I hand out 5 stars all day long :-)

I simply can't get enough of this app. As an audiophile, i think this is a very well developed, dedicated music app that has every possible control you need to listen to music in the best way possible. Integrates with wiim audio device. This gives me complete control over what I want to play when I want. No more disappointment when friends come over.

On the whole, I'm very impressed with the experience. Great to be able to use the same player on my phone, tablet, laptop & desktop. I already had a Plex server running on my Synology NAS for about 3 years now so discovering Plexamp made me happy and prompted me to invest in an annual Plex Pass. The one negative for me is that my phone (Galaxy S23+) always alerts me that Plexamp has "high background battery usage". If this is sorted it's a five star app for me.
