About this app

This free scientific calculator offers a number of useful features allowing you to carry out advanced calculations. Its simple and intuitive design makes it a pleasure to use. The calculator has all the functions that would be expected of a scientific calculator and a number of more advanced features too, including complex numbers and matrices.

The super fast algorithms allow the scrolling and zooming of 2D and 3D graphs in real time, using the touch sensitive screen.
Graph implicit equations in 2 and 3 dimensions. e.g. x²+y²+z²=5².
Graph inequalities in 2 dimensions. e.g. 2x+5y<20.
Graph functions of a complex variable.
Display up to 5 graphs on the same screen.
Active analysis of functions, for better graphing of 2D functions with singularity points. e.g. y=tan(x) or y=1/x.
Intersections on 2D graphs.

The calculator is customizable allowing you to change the colors of the screen, background and all the individual buttons, allowing you to personalize its appearance.

A fully ad free version of this app is also available.

It seems that implicit plot has problems handling transcendental equations like "sin(x*y)= k". It might be a good idea to add a warning about that. EDIT: You are right, there is no problem at all. The calculator was in Degree Mode. Changing it to Radian Mode makes everything behave as I was expecting. Thanks for your hard work on the calculator and for the response!

Hello. Thank you for the review. They seem to be graphing ok on my test devices. You do have to wait a second for the resolution to return after scrolling or zooming and ensure you are sufficiently zoomed in on the part of the graph you want but then it should draw correctly. Obviously k must be between -1 and 1.

I am using this for over a month and this is fantastic. To check the power of this calculator, I entered a hard integral problem. It took a minute and exactly found the answer. One request to the developer is that you should add limit of x,y tending to a,b that means two dimensional limit. It will be extremely helpful. Graph is not the best quality. I entered the general equation of a circle and it showed no graph. Scientific calculator is best. Better than any other app.

Thank you for the review. You shouldn't have any problems graphing implicitly defined equations, such as the equation of a circle. Could you email me a screenshot of what you've entered, and the resulting graph screen, so that I can investigate. I've noted no problems entering equations such as (x-5)^2+(y+3)^2=25 and getting the expected graph.

I'm using this app from an year, and regret that I didn't find it sooner. The app is simply awesome and I feel like small improvements can be made to do it better. Like solving linear and quadratic equations. Its taking a lot of time to fill both the variables and constants and that could be made better by giving blanks to the constants, it will be easier for calculation...
