Codewords Pro is an app to play Codewords (also known as Codebreaker), a popular word game similar to crosswords. It features several hundred free puzzles as well as 2 daily puzzles.
Codewords puzzles are similar to crosswords, but instead of clues, each letter has been replaced by a number from 1 to 26, and you need to figure out which letter each number represents.
Features:
- Several levels of difficulty, from beginner to very hard
- A mix of grid styles : american, french, italian, ... (the difference is in the way the black squares are placed)

Works quite neatly and smooth. Love the simple and helpful functionalities. Also the adds are modest, which is s big plus. Letters could be a little less big and bold though. Such would improve overview and readibility. and choice of words maybe a bit more on the 'constructive' side. Seems like a keeper :)

I only started yesterday, but until now I found this game very interesting. I just can't stop playing, I start one puzzle after the other and I love each one of them. Even in easy levels there are some puzzles that take a few more minutes to be solved and this is what I love about these kind of games. No ads for now, I hope it stays this way!

It would be excellent if it used words that existed. Still debating whether to delete it, it's VERY frustrating, and that's not even the hardest level. Too many archaic words (or just poor English, that's possible too): Examples: rin, farer, contrasty, several Indian-English words, one using alt spelling.. Every hard ((level 3 of 4) puzzle I've done has had at least a couple like this, plus more that aren't in my good dictionary (which covers British&US&Aussie) It's too bad, lot of potential.
