Really enjoy using this app when playing Scrabble. One thing to note - when you place a word on a double or triple word cell and it connects with a letter that is on the board, thus making two words, the app double counts the double/triple word score. (Eg. I placed "far" at the top with the "a" on the triple word block and this connects to the "s" of "send" below it creating "as", both "far" and "as" were scored x3). Apart from this, the features and app is great and we never play without it.

Just got a new Scrabble set after not playing for years, but they don't give you score pads any more :-( So I thought "there must be an app for that" and there is! A few ideas though: 1) The default direction of play is a bit random when you tap on the board - how about a 2nd tap to switch direction. 2) It would be nice if the cursor jumped across letters already on the board. 3) A way to annotate blanks as to the letter they represent would be nice - would simplify recycling too. Hello Rick. Thanks for the ideas. I will add them to my tasks list and implement them when I have some time.

An excellent way to keep score, continue games (we have travel scrabble) and view some fun stats if you like that kind of thing. If you have a person who is a long thinker, you can also have a timer which helps speed the game up ! Would love to see a link to a recognised scrabble dictionary but using your phone it's easy enough to get to the official scrabble one anyway. Thanks, this has been a real help during lockdown !
