About this app

The Dhammapada is the second script of Khuddaka Nikaya which is one third of the Tripitaka. It is the most popular and the most prevailing book of the Buddhist literature. This script consists of all the basic teachings of Buddhist Studies. This application was developed with the hope that the practical and basic teaching of Lord Buddha on the Dhammapada may have a positive effect on the society.
This version of the Dhammapada can be browsed in two different language categories: English (default) and Nepali. The Nepali version of the script was translated by Most Venerable Dr. Amritananda Mahathero.
It is our great privilege to publish this app to the Google Play Store under the umbrella of Dhamma Digital (a group of young Buddhist Monks and Nuns, including Dhamma devotees). We are glad to be part of the development team and are always ready to support such kind of actions. We are looking forward to update the app with a lot more language supports in the near future.
Don't forget to leave a review. Looking forward for your co-operation for bug reports and required updates.
