Bloody Bastards is a physics-based medieval fighting game where you fight against your bastard brothers.

Destroy your enemies by using an arsenal of daggers, axes, swords, maces and hammers in the arena of champions.

In a unique blend of pixel art, 2D physics and ragdoll mechanics, Bloody Bastards offers a fighting experience like nothing else. Tap and hold on either side of the screen to control each hand individually and double tap to move. The combat is a lot of fun, especially at the state of the game. However, it becomes very trivial, especially in multiplayer/ranked where the only way to win is to use a shield and short sword and just running into someone, holding their weapon away with your shield and repeatedly stab them until they die.. Multiplayer is unbalanced and many weapons are not viable (especially two handed weapons are bad in mtiplayer. )

Call this the kissing simulator as the enemies keep sticking to you so both of you can't attack. Kicking and movement being pretty much the same command sometimes ticks me off as I can't push my enemies off without accidentally moving. All in all, I like the game. It just have frustrating controls and enemies that likes kissing you the whole fight.

Very fun game, with a lot of hidden mechanical depth that surprisingly benefits having some basic knowledge of medieval combat, like blunt-force weapons being very effective at bashing in heads protected by plating, and the importance of deflecting enemy swings before they build up too much momentum. My only gripes are that it does not let you play Singleplayer without an internet connection, and Ads take a very long time to load. FYI: enable Fixed Joysticks option before you get Tendinitis.
