Many, many rough edges both in the content and the app. Edit out time critical content (news, weather). You can do this easily. Don't start streaming news with an advert. That really sucks. Put a close button on every interface. I cannot abide an app that cannot be closed. But keep up the good work - vital public service, especially for the diaspora (I live overseas). GRMA.

Lots of good things about this app. However, everytime I pause it or take a call, or it stalls, I have to listen to 30 seconds of ads. This is on top of the ads already on the radio. When you have kids and need to pause frequently this is kinda headwrecking. Or if your listening back to short clips, 30 seconds of ads before each clip is too much. Ads after a defined time interval, as opposed to every time you press play, would be great.

The amount of ads you have to wade through in order to listen to something renders this app practically unusable for me. Many times I have opened it to listen, but have abandoned the process after several minutes of ads. This is a great shame because there is a large amount of good content available. RTE, if you want people to actually listen to your programming, you need to get rid of the vast majority of the ads.
