One of the most engaging and fun mobile games I've ever played, if not the most. I am fully free to play, no money spent at all and I have several fully maxed out awakened ssr units. While the visual novel style of storytelling isn't my cup of tea, the story itself is quite interesting and fun. The events are good, and there is plenty to earn fully for free as well as plenty of good things to buy such as cosmetics. The artsyle is great, the voice acting is great. This game is a must try.

not recommended for new players unless you are willing to spend. most of the game revolves around getting the best gear, the best units, the best everything. at the beginning it was easy because everyone started off new but if you are getting into the game now I do not recommended because it is very resource heavy and time consuming to not only save up for the units you want but for the gear as well. only if you decide to spend tons of $$$ do i recommended playing as of now.

Playing for half a year as F2P and loving it. Cleared Dive 80 at level 60+ and maxed my first SSR ship by day 4 through smart resource hoarding—not luck. I avoided building beginner ships and used only the starter. Now at level 80 with 22 ASSRs, which feels insane. Gacha luck has been unreal. Endgame content is super fun and rewarding. Only downside is gear farming—takes time to build solid sets. Still, CounterSide is a very cool game bcus of each character mechanic like eccliesia!!!
