The game is fun. Easier with controller but not by much. The issues come from balancing which is at time barely existent. I wish they'd have considered the ability to hold and path a grenade/throwable. Also, some skills, like the recons knockback even with upgrades are essentially useless. The game does require thinking and patience, so death is expected, but often some enemies that one shot you are placed in ways designed to inflate difficultly, like bombers right on the other end of the doors

So far so good. I _really_ like the vibe of the game and the attention to detail for the controls. It's just a bIt intense to start right off with. The guys with machettes and the dark guys wearing wife beaters particularly. The other thing is that it assumes a lot from the end user. Like when you run out of ammo and you have to pull the trigger to reload. Love the simplicity of it once I realized. The other thing was when you get power ups from experience. They should pulse to draw attention.👍

It's definitely one of the best and aesthetically pleasing retro pixel out there. It's not exactly a casual game, but it's not that hard either. The game is challenging enough to draw you in, yet not punishing to push you away. I also like how the game progresses. The stars you get from each stage are not exclusive for the character you use in obtaining them, encouraging you to try different characters. Please consider adding a multiplayer function.
