I like the notifications for sun rise/set and moon rise/set. For photographers, the times of golden hour and blue hour are very handy. The over all presentation is clear and concise. The fake moving stars in the background is a little weird for a scientific application. I was hoping they might be real.

I got the pro version of this for the widget, which works just fine. There just just a dark one and a transparent background one. Worth the small cost, imo, although I wish it was possible to customize the widget more (e.g. transparency levels, rounded corners or not). The information appears to be accurate and the rest of the app is the same as the free version, minus ads, essentially. No complaints. It's clean and simple.

It does exactly what it sets out to do. The app shows phases and exact percentages that'll be seen at night, calculations for any date, weather for nearby dates, fully adjustable notifications, time of moon rising and setting, and best time for observation/photography. Date selection is good for most applications, but difficult to use if you're interested in more than a couple year's timespan. What i also found lacking is that the app doesn't predict eclipses, lunar or solar.
