The roots of the Salesian presence in Aleppo go back to the initiative of the Patriarch Isidore Fattal, who took over the ministry. Despite the nationalization of schools in 1967, the mission continued through the Patriarch, who, since 1980, has become a focal point for pastoral and educational activity. This ongoing effort has yielded numerous monastic and priestly vocations.

Some of the center's activities include: Christian education, fraternities, kindergarten, university meetings, Sunday Mass, Salesian collaborators, and theater.
