Yes, your banking is done via a secured connection. No personal details are stored on your phone or tablet. If you always use the latest version of the app, you enjoy optimal security and the latest features.

Activation only takes a moment
You don’t need much to activate the app. Just a Dutch current account at ING, access to My ING and a valid identity document. This can be a passport, an ID card from the EU, an ID card for foreign nationals, a Dutch residence permit or a driver’s license.

The all-in-one app presents too many options without consistent grouping, making navigation confusing. Hints, tips, and advertisements disrupt the layout. The stock section displays related data across unrelated screens, and the watchlist feature is broken, it causes the app to restart. An update to the last version didn't help.

Hi, thank you for your message! We will pass on the feedback on the app and the stock display. Regarding the messages and advertisements, you can switch them off in the app through "Service> App Settings> Privacy settings". I hope this is helpful. ^Mirte

Worked fine for quite some time, but off late, the fingerprint option does not start automatically as it used to do as long as I remember. now you need to click on the fingerprint icon to start logging in with fingerprint. Has this been disabled? Any chance this might be activated again, since it's quite handy to show the fingerprint option right away when starting the App.

Goedemiddag Berry. Heb even gehoord en dit probleem schijnt enkel bij Samsung toestellen zo te zijn. Bij update nummer 15 moet dit weer zijn opgelost. En anders even contacten via: https://www.ing.nl/particulier/klantenservice/telefoonnummers. ^Jeroen

If you set a minimum balance notification when below X balance, you won't get a notification if the payment that pushes you from above X to below X is an internal ING payment, like "kosten Oranje pakket" or the "round up and save" and similar (unsure about automatic credit card payments and ING insurance). So you can't rely on this notification as it won't work some of the time, making it pretty useless for now. Also the ING listed email for App Support on Play Store here can't be emailed.

Good morning, the minimum balance notification in the ING app doesn’t trigger for internal transactions like package fees or savings transfers, making the feature less reliable. It’s also unfortunate that the support email listed on the Play Store is unreachable. I’m forwarding this. ^Kirsten.
