on my Google pixel, the App doesn't survive more than a minute before I get a toast message saying that the app isn't responding - close app or wait I really wonder how the testing and development goes for the app that this issue, which I have noticed for more than 2-3 months isn't fixed. I have not read a single article for months on the app. it was my only source of German news in English.

The problem starts when you are commuting on a tube. The app wants to be online all the time, and when you are between the stations with no Internet it doesn't show you the already loaded content. It throws an error message and freezes until you are online again. Very annoying

After reading an article, when trying to go back to the main page, using Android's back button, the app freezes. I have restart the app to get start this over. This wasn't a problem until a few days ago. Otherwise I really like the app and how the content is selected, written and presented.

What’s new
We are gradually revamping our language offerings. With the new release, content on the redesigned languages can be saved to a bookmark list again. The bookmark list is accessible via an icon in the tab bar. Existing bookmarks are migrated to the new structure. We support now Dark Mode.
