I've been using GoodReads forever. In that time the app has never changed. Theres so much improvement that could be done. If you want to do the very basic on your account, then it's fine. But navigating MANY of its features is not possible in the app. You have to use the desktop version. Months ago I even wrote GoodReads about a bug I found. They said they had been aware of it. It still hasn't been fixed.

Two problems: 1) The app hiccups a second or two after opening it and freezes for at least five seconds. (still true months later) 2) The dark theme is pretty bad. Especially as some buttons/icons retain their light mode colours and that green shade isn't nice on the eyes with the dark background (still true) added problem - the feed doesn't update at all and I haven't seen many people's updates for the two days, unless I use GR on a browser

Gone downhill. It was great, and it kept track of all my books. I'm not sure when the last update happened, but since it glitches when I am trying to search books and isn't updating my yearly reading challenge or accepting books I've read for the community favorites challenges. Maybe time to find a new way to track what books I've read and want to read
