Edit: recently the app is draining my battery like crazy. 16h background usage, 3m screen usage. Gotta install as I need and uninstall until there's an update. Yesterday the app just started closing and crashing. I cleared data and cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing seems to work. Hopefully an update is coming soon. [Update] is seems to have started working properly with no update.

The biggest issue is battery drain. It's a serious battery hog. It drains 1% every 2 minutes--just running in the background (screen off). It also makes my phone really warm. If I had known the app would drain my battery so much, I wouldn't have bought the frames. The home screen is fairly useless, since they're just tutorials that you've already done when setting up the glasses. Deleting photos/videos requires too many steps.

Outside the US and Canada, these glasses work just like headphones with a camera. Basically NONE of the key features work outside the US/CA except basic commands like, "Hey Meta...take a picture", "take a video", "play music", "tell me the time" etc. If you need special requests such as "what's the distance between the Empire State Building and the Memorial Park", you will only get the message - "I can't do that on your glasses" all the time. So, if you live outside the US/CA, don't buy them
