The game itself? Great. The issue is the game frequently freezes for several seconds. On top of that, the matchmaking is horrendous. I played only 3 games of boom, the first two were relatively comfortable wins against slightly weaker teams (6-9 rating wrestlers). Third game, I get matched with a 20 RATED WRESTLER TEAM. I have at a level 10 wrestler as my best. That is obviously completely unwinnable and should never happen, even if I was on a good win streak.

The ads stopped working for me for the most part, but on the occasions they do work, it plays that stupid Royal Match ad every time, that's like, 2 minutes long and resets the game so you don't get the reward you were watching the ad for in the first place. Also, Royal Rumble mode used to be fun, but now the cards are so heavily lopsided in the game's favor that you can't win unless you are in the top tier, with the best cards in the game. 👎

I swore once that I would never play this game again after my second run with it; but after six years, well here we are. I can say to some extent it's improved, there genuinely feels like a sense of progression and ability to play without spending real money, not to mention the overhaul of new match types, cards and player experience. It still is a grind fest in many ways, but unlike six years ago it isn't so much that I'll be dropping it anytime soon.
