*UPDATE* developer quality control needs some work because an update made it impossible to start the game for a number of days, but they did finally fix it. The game itself is actually a lot of fun to play, providing an entire Fallout Vault to build and run, and all kinds of missions, all of which in the familiar retro futuristic 1950s style. As it's fully singleplayer there is no one else to compete with, so you're free to play it as much or as little as you want. Quite enjoyable.

Fallout Shelter is a fantastic game. I love the references to the other games and the vault boy cartoon aesthetics. I think the customisation of the vault dwellers appearance, coupled with the ability to level up each attribute is fantastic. I've also spent some money on the game, the purchases are reasonably priced for the advantages gained and I believe it to be worth the hours of enjoyment I get by ten fold. My one criticism is bugs and the speed to which they are dealt with.

Unfortunately, it's fun but has way too many issues. The biggest being how the statistics are GARBAGE. Meaning everything bad happens very quickly, and anything good takes hours/days. Other than the initial 14 Dwellers, you receive no more, even with the radio station. Resources are basically impossible to keep up with. Very limited chances to receive any perks/bonuses. It is a great concept of a game, but it's designed horribly.
