Ever since an update 4 or 5 months ago, this app runs in the background consistently and drains my battery horribly. I have an S24 Ultra and I have done everything suggested by support and the community to no avail. Literally everything!! The only time it doesn't run in the background is if the app is completely deleted off my phone. Which sucks because I can't control the stuff I would like to. I started contacting support 3 or 4 months ago, and you would think there would be a fix for this!!!

There is one thing Alexa can do that is astonishing! It took me over a year to figure out as it requires at least 6-7 Alexa speaker devices to be in the same room. It's complicated and fussy to set up, but when you do, you won't believe your ears! Listening to music is unbelievable! Now, music has depth, dimension, and correctness that locates it correctly in the room, including motion. This was unexpected. It's awesome, beautiful, and jaw-dropping! I love it, and nothing equals it at any price!

UI keeps changing and getting worse, settings don't stay consistent over time, smart interactions with other apps (lights, etc) get confused and start adding one effect into another. For instance, I have a routine that triggers on my command for a certain light to be on for an hour, but now that light always turns off after an hour even if I don't use that command; My Alexa speakers just stopped playing my music because I clicked on this rating thing in the app, etc. Overall very aggravating.
