Everything you hate about mobile games is in here. Play stamina, Gacha, Ads, Brainless gameplay, microtransactions. It is, like many mobile games, an attack on the beautiful medium of video games. Bit of a shame for a publisher that funded some very good indie games. I guess the only way to defend it is if it were an ironic parody of mobile games, but it's not over the top enough for that to make sense. The art style is very cute and 2000's-sy, which might be the only reason to check it out.

Yeah, the timer is short, but the real problem is that the controls are terrible. Sometimes it doesn't register when you put your finger on a piece, sometimes it doesn't make connections that it should clearly be able to, and sometimes it stops early and only pops half of the toys even before you take your finger off. It also needs to spread the connections much faster for how fast-paced the game is supposed to be. Oh, and spinning the fan is a waste of time. It doesn't do anything.

Level 30 felt impossible to beat with the standard time allotment. So I watched ads... (I hate watching ads for games) to complete the level requirements. I was really excited for this game since I'm a devolver fan so I asked to be notified on release so I could download it immediately. I even bought the $3 unlimited play. The requirements don't feel in reach without watching ads but going with the theme of the game that's likely intended. 😑
