Been using tripview lite since the beginning of time. Thought this app would be an upgrade. It's certainly not. It doesn't even update schedules real time - there were delays on the line and it just showed the regular timetable and said the trains were on time (they were not). Opal balance is not real time. Doesn't show upcoming track work. Doesn't show current location of trains. I'll be going back to tripview for a reliable service. What a disappointment.

There are no top-up machines available at the majority of Sydney's light rail network stops. Therefore this app is useful for topping up your card before travelling. Opal cards are accepted by bus, train and light rail networks throughout the system. Opal cards are not accepted on aircraft. Ensure a smooth, efficient, safe and comfortable journey by using the Opal travel app.

It WAS excellent. Suddenly, I can no longer tap on and off using the Opal app on my phone. update: Thanks for the reply, it only took one month and it referred me to another website. That says it all.
