Kláštor v Kremnici

Franciscan Monastery in Kremnica is a reference to the rich spiritual and material heritage left in the Kremnica by the Franciscan rebellion, which has been in the city and its surroundings for 300 years.

The object of the monastery shows the destructive activity of the Communist system and communist totality.

After an extensive and vigorous action in 1950, A "barbarous night", which resulted in the abolition of all monasteries in the former Czechoslovakia, many rare manuscripts, prints, paintings and furniture were scrupulously treated by the state authorities of the destroyed library and stolen.

However, the most painful consequences of the interference were the fatalities of thousands of religious and emperors who became a persecuted group of citizens for several decades.
