KiddiLock is a smart and engaging parental control app designed to help children develop healthier screen habits. By providing a customizable timed screen lock, KiddiLock empowers parents to manage their kids' device usage effectively.
What sets KiddiLock apart is its focus on positive reinforcement and engagement. Instead of abrupt restrictions, the app encourages balance and offers an opportunity to build healthier routines in a fun and constructive way. No more arguing and fighting when it is time to stop the kids from looking at screens.
It works on both phones and tablets.
Extremely simple to use. Create different timers and name them appropriately, e.g. the name of the child. They will be saved in the app, where you can edit them later if required. Before you hand over the phone to the child, just start the timer. As the child plays or watches videos, a gentle reminder notification will be shown to the child that time is almost up, and shortly after the screen will power off and the phone will lock.
INSTALLATION:
VERY IMPORTANT - Make sure to set up a phone security PIN or pattern that the child does not know, prior to using the app.
When installing the app, allow the phone the requested ability to Lock the Screen.
As simple as that.
**It is NOT a control app. Parents cannot remotely control (lock) other phones through the app.
