I've played this game on and off for many years now. Each time I come back, the game becomes worse. "1500+ weapons!!!!" But you have to craft the vast majority of them by either paying actual money or earning the parts for random weapons when they appear in events, which is extremely slow. I miss the way this game was when I was a kid, it was actually fun, and there were a TON of weapons that you could buy outright with in-game currency. Don't bother playing this unless you're a wallet warrior.

Was fun once, with a nice selection of guns and maps. Horribly unbalanced and pay-to-win. Cubic Games does not care, because it's how they get their money, despite more customer-friendly free-to-play games proving that one can have a monetization system that is both fair and profitable. Eventually this game will die out.

Edit: Up to 5 stars. Great new events with free mythic opportunity and very satisfying changes to rewards and play systems. I'm impressed with the 360 this game has had. with the leveling system locking weapons behind Progression, it makes playing each match feel rewarding, with the relatively generous amount of coins given, especially when you are the mvp of the match. over time, I was able to grind enough gems for a mythic from the trader, and I love it. Amazing turnaround from a 1 star.
