Peacock Sounds

Peacocks, also known as peafowl, are medium-sized birds closely related to pheasants. Male peacocks are called peacocks, while female peacocks are called peacocks. Male peacocks are usually about twice the size of female peacocks. Peacock tails are one of the most beautiful scenes in the animal kingdom. But it's not just beautiful when you look at it. Birds also use their huge tails to make loud noises.

The peacock tail is gorgeous. At four feet tall or even five feet at times, when open it is an iridescent, shimmering wonderland covered in giant specks. As this Indian peacock trembles with its outstretched tail, it makes a rustling sound, almost like the sound of a drum. Scientists call this the "train rattle" of the peacock. You might also call it the peacock's love sound. The rattling of a train also causes a vibration in the air that we humans don't feel. But a female peacock, or peacock, can.
