15 yr user here with slightly over 1k nights booked. Used to be good. Not anymore. It is easier to gouge your eyes off than it is to reach their CS. Properties with "Request to Book" are almost always overbooked, charged upfront & then cancelled on the day of arrival with refunds taking up to 2 months. Cashback is kinda sus as the some of the supposed Cashback disappears on the day it is due. Use them to gauge prices then offer the property to pay that direct. You're welcome.

Scammed,stranded and then blamed! I booked and paid for a hotel. Upon arrival to check-in, I was told that they have nothing to do with Agoda and they don't have my booking. I contacted the support immediately but they didn't help at all and were left to look physically for alternatives. When I asked for a refund, Agoda asked for proof ?! (Doing their job!!!) I did send the new stay proof but still wasn't enough! No investigation, no accountability, just pure unprofessionalism. Never again!

Avoid using Agoda for hotel bookings, as it may lead to disappointment. The customer service seems unresponsive to user concerns, prioritizing hotel partners instead. Despite providing evidence, my issues were dismissed without resolution. For a stress-free vacation, consider alternative booking platforms.
