The Don Bosco Oratorio Kafroun App: A digital platform for serving youth in the Salesian spirit. In a technological step that reflects the Salesian family's commitment to serving youth, an app has been launched for members of the Don Bosco Oratorio Kafroun.
This app is an innovative and modern means of enabling registered members to interact daily with the center's spiritual and social life, and to stay up-to-date on the regular programming and diverse activities prepared for children and youth at the Oratorio.

The Don Bosco Center Kafroun is located in the Kafroun area and serves as a meeting point for youth of all ages and cultures. The center is dedicated to promoting spiritual and social values ​​by organizing a variety of activities and programs, such as workshops, training courses, cultural and sporting events, and local and regional Salesian meetings. It is also home to numerous meetings and gatherings across Syria and the Salesian Middle East region.
The center seeks to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children and youth, where they can express themselves and develop their skills. It also works to strengthen social bonds between individuals, contributing to the building of a cohesive and connected community. Through these activities, the Kafroun Center seeks to provide young people with the tools necessary to face the challenges of reality, nurture them spiritually and culturally, and develop their skills so they can dream and aspire to a better future. The mission of this center is for young people, to form good Christians and honorable citizens.
The center offers a variety of core activities targeting children and youth from the age of 7 to university age, throughout the year. These activities are programmed by the center's lay leaders, along with an educational council composed of seven Salesian assistants and educators.
Center Activities:
During the winter, the center provides pastoral services aimed at Christian education, covering 20 villages adjacent to Kafroun. These services are prepared by a group of educators (30 male and female) after a period of initiation, training, and programming.
During the summer, the center offers children and youth summer pastoral activities scheduled for more than 20 villages adjacent to Kafroun. These activities are prepared by a group of facilitators after a period of training and programming. In addition to summer camps from preparatory grades to university age, the goal is to develop youth skills and enhance their social, cultural, and moral awareness, contributing to building a strong and cohesive society.
The Don Bosco Center in Kafroun is a Salesian center whose patron saint is Saint John Bosco, the patron saint of youth. He adopted the motto "Give me souls and take the rest" as a way of life among young people. This is what shapes the center's mission through all its activities, meetings, and camps, all of which aim to create and train virtuous Christian youth in various fields.
It's also worth noting that the center hosts youth camps committed to the Church (scouting groups, fraternities, etc.).
