Definitely a fun time waster. Literally the 9nly thing keeping this from being a 5 star game for me is the lack of information for stat and 'class' requirements to evolve the staff. Also lacks a list of different staff positions so I dunno if I've unlocked all of them or if there are more secret positions (for example script writer) available. All that being said if you enjoy management/Sim games this is a fun one.

TV Studio Story is a game in the same vein as Game Dev and the like. You run a small TV studio and work your way up making shows for the masses. For the most part the experience is smooth and well running. Lots to do, lots to manage and overall a good new release. Could some things change? Sure. I'd like to swap actors if they get picked for a genre that isn't theirs but it doesn't break the game. Lots of sets, genres and items to unlock.

Starts out fun and promising only to turn into a slog near the end when going for completion + high stats. Your shows barely make enough money to fund late game progression, and you will inevitably spam "part time job" over and over until your employees' energy depletes so you can scout and train a single time—and then do it again. Despite having a few more mechanics and very similar gameplay to the original Game Dev Story, this one just isn't as good. Maybe in the second playthrough.
