About this app

FairEmail is easy to set up and works with virtually all email providers, including Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo!

FairEmail might be for you if you value your privacy.

FairEmail is simple to use, but if you are looking for a very simple email app, FairEmail might not be the right choice.

FairEmail is an email client only, so you need to bring your own email address. FairEmail is not a calendar/contact/task/note manager and cannot make you coffee.

FairEmail does not support non-standard protocols, like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Almost all features are free to use, but to maintain and support the app in the long term, not every feature can be for free. See below for a list of pro features.

A lot of effort has gone into this mail app, which was developed to help you protect your privacy. If you have a question or problem, there is always support at [email protected].

The best mail app ever for me! Great app with loads of nerdy features, which can be overwhelming for non-techies. Yet it does an awesome job balancing between features for techies and usability for the less technical user. The standout feature for me is the ability to change the from: email address on the fly* (without profiles and such). Most certainly worth some of your local currency to support the author. Love it!! *= this feature only works if your mailserver/mail-setup supports this!

I changed from K9 mail to FairEmail. K9 became buggy and was not always updating in the background as of version 8.2, along with UI changes that made it harder to use. FairEmail has been working perfectly. The settings can seem overwhelming, but the defaults are good, with mail view settings defaulting to high privacy options. I paid for the Pro version to support it, and for a few extra features.

I've tried a few mail clients recently, and settling with this one. It has lots of configuration to tweak, which can be both a good thing (for advanced users) and a negative (for regular users). Luckily you don't really need to dive into the settings if you're a regular user, and if you want to tweak things you can. It has privacy and tracking protection by default. I probably won't use many if any Pro features, but this app is worth a bit of your local currency anyway to show some support!
