This number puzzle goes by many names: Sumdoku, Addoku, Cross Sum, etc., but the rules are equally simple across the board. Your goal is to fill the grid with numbers like in classic Sudoku while making sure the sum of numbers in the cages (areas separated by dotted lines) is equal to the number in the upper left corner of that cage. How to play Killer Sudoku
✓ Fill all rows, columns, and 3x3 blocks with numbers 1-9 exactly like in classic Sudoku
✓ Pay attention to the cages – groups of cells indicated by dotted lines.
✓ Make sure the sum of numbers in each cage is equal to the number in the upper left corner of the cage.
✓ The basic rule of Killer Sudoku is that the sum of all numbers in each 3x3 block, row, or column always equals 45.
✓ Numbers cannot repeat within cages, a single row, column, or 3x3 region.

A good Killer Sudoku app. The different color schemes are useful, as well as the options for how things get highlighted (or not), etc. While I like the idea of the weekly challenges, the vast majority involve non-expert levels which are ridiculously easy. Basically doing simple math for several minutes, which quickly becomes tedious after a few games. There should also be a difficulty level between Hard and Expert. Perhaps also empty, but with more of the easier (high or low) totals per cage.

There is an excessive number of ads during each Extreme game. Typically, there is one ad at the beginning, followed by three to four ad breaks during the game—each containing two ads—resulting in an additional six to eight ads. Finally, one more ad is shown at the end, bringing the total to approximately eight to ten advertisements per game."

This used to be one of my favorite Sudoku games, even with ads at the beginning and end of a puzzle. Now a puzzle can be interrupted by one or more ads and this basically ruins the game. Too bad... BTW, I know I can pay to remove the ads but previous experiences with other games made me suspicious. Does this remove ad banners at the bottom, or the ad interruptions or all ads?
