Apparently the main purpose of this app is to update the speaker firmware and not much else. That works fine, except that I see strange bahavior that all existing bluetooth profiles on my phone (e.g. headphones, carkit) are deleted after updating a speaker. I hoped to use the 4 extreme 2's to amllify tv sound via the aux-input in party mode. Even with a single speaker, the latency is too large to do this. So these speakers essentially work for music listening only.

Doesn't recognize my speaker unfortunately (Charge 3). I opened the app, then connected my speaker and the app even after a good 10 or so minutes still could not find my speaker. Factory resetting it would not help either. Only reason it's 2 stars instead of one is because it doesn't require you logging into the app to use it. At least that's something

My goal was, using the app on Android 10, to turn off the unnecessary (for me) and loud on/off-sounds on my Flip 4. First of all the app failed to find my speaker until I first connected to it outside of the app. Then the app properly shows firmware update being available which I then started. After updating like 30 mins, it fails on the final Restart-phase with a error message of "Please check your internet connection and try again". Two stars for being able to rename speaker and for okay UX
