Really don't care for how the larger gold pieces spawn with a huge amount of lateral speed, flinging them into the nearest lake. Less than an interesting mechanic, it ends up just being annoying. Outside of that, the game is ... It's fine, side scrolling fighter, uneven controls, minimal environmental interaction, repetitive fights (bosses are larger/recolored versions of normal enemies), generally pretty mid. Okayish writing, not a very interesting or engrossing plot. Consistent art style, tho.

this game is great, but the upgrade choice makes the game a bit discouraging, I don't know if they've made any updates, but when you got to the point where you have to make an upgrade to progress, you couldn't do ANYTHING else. which makes the game kinda unplayable. but other than that, it was a fine game

Decent game but become tedious after a while. Combat feels more like a chore than fun. The enemy AI is super annoying sometimes, but that's part of it, I guess. It's just not landing well on the fun/frustrating graph.
