Nope, you can use any jump rope available. While our workouts are built specifically for our Crossrope weighted jump ropes, you can still follow along with any rope.

Do I need any other equipment to do these workouts?
No. All you need is your jump ropes, the app, and enough space to jump (no gym required).

What do the workouts look like?
Crossrope workouts are built using different combinations of jump rope intervals and bodyweight exercises for maximum calorie burn, muscle activation, and endurance training. Our workouts range from 15 to 45 minutes.

Good exercises, but unless you buy subscription your favourite exercise will become unavailable (as the available exercises rotate). So I bought subscription, as it also promised "quick workout filtering" and a counter, plus mentioned custom exercises. However I didn't get what I expected. I did get access to all exercises, and challenges, but the counter only works on specific counting mode (and not in the exercises), there is no quick filter (or I can find it) and I see no custom options!

The counter for the spin jumper is not user friendly and is inconsistent when I can get it to work. Please work on that aspect. It would be super fun to be able to see improvements. I can't speak for any other part of the app.

The app as a whole is great so many workouts to choose from...the hardest part is choosing one. My biggest criticism and kinda annoying is that the voice in the app is very quiet and makes it easy to miss time markers. Have tried tinkering with all the settings but no difference. Would be good if when there is an announcement that the music volume is automatically lowered then raised back after.
